ROBUST HEAVY GUAGE SHELL:

NOZZLE GUARD FILTERS FEATURE THE HEAVIEST GUAGE SHELL of any competitive spin-on.  While competitors use 0.015" and thinner material for the shells of their filters, Nozzle Guard uses material at least 33% thicker. This means a stronger filter that can stand up to the rigors of the industry. With a burst pressure over 500 psi (compared to competitors' under 200 psi), the Nozzle Guard filter is built to withstand situations such as high thermally generated pressures in systems with check valves or Oil Safety Valves. Once we built the heaviest guage shell of any competitive spin-on, did we stop our quest to provide our customers with the best filter shell in the industry? Of course not! To ensure our customers have a filter shell offerring the maximum utility, we not only designed it with the heaviest guage material, we designed it with a flat bottom. Competitors design their filters with domed bottoms so they can withstand higher pressures (although much lower pressures than Nozzle Guard!), but this makes the filter unstable and it has a tendency to tip over and spill its oil contents all over. Nozzle Guard's exclusive flat-bottom design not only holds much more pressure than competiotors', but it also stands up straight and doesn't tip over and spill fuel oil. Nozzle Guard's flat-bottom design has a lower installed height, and prime's faster due to lower contained volume.

TO MAKE THE NOZZLE GUARD SHELL EVEN BETTER we add the industry's best corrosion protection to it--Nozzle Guard's exclusive Triple Corrosion Resistance.

For the heaviest guage shell of any competitive spin-on, with exclusive flat-bottom design for no tipping, and Triple Corrosion Resistance, insist on Nozzle Guard filters!

DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS!  USE ONLY NOZZLE GUARD FILTERS ON YOUR OIL BURNER.
